Sheet Compare Privacy Policy

Sheet Compare is a macOS app from Better Studios that helps users compare spreadsheet files they choose on their Mac.
Data Collection
Sheet Compare does not collect personal data.
The app does not require an account, does not upload spreadsheet files to Better Studios, and does not use advertising, tracking, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting services.
Files You Select
When you choose XLSX, CSV, or TSV files, Sheet Compare reads those files locally on your Mac to compare rows, columns, values, and report filters.
Your spreadsheet contents remain on your device. Better Studios does not receive, store, review, or share the files you select or the comparison results created from those files.
Exports
If you export comparison results, the exported file is created locally on your Mac. You control where that file is saved and whether it is shared.
Local Storage
Sheet Compare stores local app settings on your device, including comparison preferences and the local count of free completed comparisons. This information is stored using Apple system storage and is not sent to Better Studios.
Purchases
Sheet Compare offers a one-time non-consumable In-App Purchase called Lifetime Unlimited. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Better Studios does not receive your payment card details.
Third-Party Services
Sheet Compare does not use third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services.
Privacy Choices
Because Sheet Compare does not collect personal data, Better Studios does not maintain an account profile, user database, or cloud file storage for Sheet Compare users.
You can remove local app data by deleting the app and its local settings from your Mac.
Children’s Privacy
Sheet Compare is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy
Better Studios may update this Privacy Policy if Sheet Compare’s data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
